Exceptional archive Maison Martin Margiela feather cape from 2011. Constructed entirely with densely layered natural feathers in deep black with an iridescent green, petrol and blue sheen that changes beautifully depending on the light.

The cape has a dramatic rounded, voluminous silhouette with elongated feather-covered sides and an open front, finished with a clean black neckline. The overlapping feathers create an almost wing-like texture — a striking example of Margiela’s experimental approach to materials and transformation of the body.
